In middle school I spent most of my afternoons modding Minecraft configs and rebuilding PCs from parts. Not because I had a plan, just because understanding how things worked under the hood was more interesting than anything else. It took me another ten years to realize that was already the job. I never formally studied computer science. I studied economics, then during COVID I fell into the sneaker bot and automation world; got completely fascinated by how you could write something that solved a real problem faster and better than any human doing it manually. I taught myself from scratch, no bootcamp, no courses, just documentation and things to fix. Built a proxy infrastructure company within months. Around the same time, a stagiaire at my family's textile business had spent six months manually transcoding products between an AS400 ERP and Shopify. I automated the whole thing in a week with a Python script and a JSON mapping database. That was it. I understood what this was. What followed was a few years of building things nobody had off-the-shelf solutions for: a proxy infrastructure company from scratch, then an IoT monitoring platform I retrofitted onto 30-year-old textile machinery, then a full warehouse management system with real-time sync to a legacy DB2 database, AI bots, and Shopify integration. About 30 people used those systems daily. The business got liquidated before they hit full production rollout. That's probably the roughest professional thing that's happened to me, and also the most instructive. The economics background wasn't a detour. It's why I can walk into a business, understand why the operations are broken, and build something that fits. Not something that almost fits and requires three years of vendor customization. I work across the full stack, design my own interfaces, and I'm not bothered by legacy systems. I've spent enough time in AS400 integrations to be comfortable there. I'm based in Lugano. I work with businesses that have real operational problems and need someone who builds, not just advises.

Cotonificio Zambaiti
Built a custom MES and WMS from scratch, both integrated with the company's legacy ERP (DB2/AS400). The WMS alone managed over 10,000 product references, millions of pieces, 15,000+ storage boxes, and tracked more than 50,000 inventory movements. Retrofitted around 30 production machines with IoT sensors — power meters, cycle counters, and custom hardware on decades-old textile machinery — for real-time monitoring and analytics. The systems were used daily across the organization, including a mobile maintenance module where floor workers logged issues and technicians organized their workload directly from their phones.

Zepoch Sagl
Built and ran a small tech company selling datacenter and residential proxy subscriptions. Designed the full infrastructure: proxy server management via SSH, automated order fulfillment through Discord bots, WooCommerce e-commerce integration, Google Sheets inventory tracking, and customer-facing tools. Everything from the backend to the storefront.

Two-month rotation through every department of a chemical manufacturing plant near Leipzig — production floor, maintenance, laboratory, purchasing, sales, and accounting. Worked alongside the general manager in the final weeks. First time living abroad alone.
